What’s included in the charter fee?

Your charter fee includes your time on the water with a certified captain and one additional crew member, as well as lite snacks, water and ice. We also supply a limited number of water toys - i.e., water noodles – for your enjoyment. We supply life jackets for our younger guests to wear while our motors are running, as required by law.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own prepared foods, snacks and drinks to enjoy while aboard and the necessary utensils. Food /drinks should not need to be reheated or cooked.

Guests should also bring their own towels and sunscreen, as these are not provided.

4

Where do I board?

Coastlines has many pick up and drop off locations in and around St. Pete. You let us know where you’re staying and we’ll work with you to arrange a pick up in a location that’s convenient for you and the rest of your party.

5

How many guests are allowed onboard?

We can accommodate up to twelve passengers. All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

6

How do I make a reservation?

There are two ways to secure your ride with Coastlines. Use our online calendar to select the date and type of charter that suit you and click “Reserve.” Alternatively, reach out to Captain Erik directly (Email), and he’ll hook you up. A $350 deposit of the charter fee is required to secure your reservation.

If we do not receive your deposit within 24 hours of booking, we will release your hold on the date/time. Full payment is due on or before the day of reservation, prior to departure. All payments can be made via credit card or digital wallet apps such as Venmo/Paypay/ApplePay.

7

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made online up to six (6) months in advance to guarantee your place with Coastlines Charters. If you wish to secure your spot earlier, please contact Captain Erik directly (Email).

8

What’s not included in the charter fee?

  • Taxes are not included and will be added on.

  • A $50+ fuel surcharge will be applied when the passengers request a destination outside our normal charter tour offerings, depending on the destination.

  • Gratuities for the Captain and Crew are greatly appreciated and not included.

  • Bring your own sunscreen, towels, food and beverages.

9

What happens if I have to Cancel?

Things happen. We get it. Guests who cancel with us up to 72 hours before their scheduled departure time will receive a full refund of their deposit (minus $50 admin fee) or they can choose to apply their deposit toward a future charter within one (1) year of cancellation. If a reservation is canceled by a guest within the 72-hour departure window, no refunds on deposits will be granted.

10

What if it's snotty weather?

St. Pete Beach weather can change quickly. Your captain has the final say on determining whether it is safe to be out on the water and the area’s surrounding beaches and makes these decisions with the safety of our guests as our top priority.

Any named storms or government-issued mandatory evacuation orders can warrant a charter cancellation. In the event of a charter cancellation due to weather, Coastlines will work with you to attempt to reschedule for a different day. If we can’t reschedule, you’ll have the opportunity your deposit refunded (minus a $50 administration fee) or have your deposit credited toward another charter, which is good for up to one (1) year from the original charter date.
